Melissa Sanderson

Melissa “Mel” is a globally recognized leader in geopolitics and ESG strategies with over 40 years across diplomacy, mining, and corporate governance. A former US diplomat, Mel’s distinguished career in the US Foreign Service included key roles in conflict resolution and strategic negotiations in Africa, Europe, and Latin America. In the private sector, Mel held senior roles at Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX), leading global government relations and sustainable development initiatives. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Critical Minerals Institute (CMI), and as a Director of American Rare Earths Limited (ASX: ARR | OTCQB: ARRNF), where she played a key role in expanding the company’s profile in North America, particularly in the renewable energy and defence sectors.

Gary Lewis

Gary is a senior executive and experienced company director with over 30 years in capital markets, business and strategy development. He has founded, invested and operated resource projects or assets valued at more than US$400M, including the acquisition and ultimate sell-down or listing of high-value, multi-commodity resource projects in Australia, UK, Asia and the Americas. Gary has sat on the board of publicly listed companies in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. He was the Founder and Managing Director of Robust Resources Limited (ASX: ROL), and Founder, CEO and Director of Electric Metals (USA) Limited (TSXV: EML | OTCQB: EMUSF).

Mitchell Smith

Mitchell sits on the board of several private and public natural resource companies, having over 15 years of executive leadership, entrepreneurship and capital markets experience, particularly in the battery and energy metals sectors. Mitchell has identified and negotiated the acquisition of multi-jurisdictional mining projects in North America, Europe, and Australia and was responsible for establishing off-take and EPC contracts with leading specialized lithium-ion battery cathode material companies. He is Partner, Mining & Metals at Moneta Securities, Founder, CEO and Director of Global Energy Metals Corp. (TSXV: GEMC | OTCQB: GBLEF), Director of the Battery Metal Association of Canada, and Non-Executive Chairman at Fulcrum Metals PLC.

Derek Marshall

Derek is an experienced geologist with over 19 years in the exploration and mining industry. He has significant experience in managerial and technical roles, including as Chief Executive Officer of Trek Metals Ltd (ASX: TKM), vendor of the South Woodie Woodie Manganese Project, as well as at Solution Mining Pty Ltd and Matrix Mining LLC, a US-focused manganese explorer. Derek previously held senior technical roles at Newcrest Mining Limited (now Newmont Corporation) and Buxton Resources Ltd. Derek is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jack Cartmel

Jack is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years in the mining industry, and extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, public and prospectus offerings, public company accounting and disclosure, as well as financial and risk management. Previously Jack was the CFO at Battery Mineral Resources Corp (TSXV: BMR), Resource Capital Gold Corp and Altair Resources Inc., and Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Internal Audit for Monument Mining Ltd., a mid-size gold producer. Jack is Managing Partner at NUMIS Chartered Professional Accountants.

John Levings

John is an accomplished economic geologist who has led teams globally into major discoveries, project acquisitions and developments. He has held a number of public company directorships with resource companies involved in exploration for precious metals (gold and silver), base metals including lead, zinc, copper and nickel, in addition to manganese. John was previously Technical Director at Robust Resources Limited, Geology Manager, Gladstone Pacific Nickel Ltd, Chief Operating Officer, BHP Billiton / Hallmark Joint Venture, and is currently Executive Director, Prospech Limited (ASX: PRS).

Dr. Mark Steemson

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in process development and engineering, including positions as Process Consultant for both the Solway Group and JResources (Indonesia); Process Consultant/Principal Process Engineer for PT Resindo Resources, SNC Lavalin, Ausenco and Aker Kvaerner; Process Manager for Weda Bay Minerals; and Senior Research Engineer for MIM Holdings Ltd. He has process development, consulting and engineering design experience in the nickel/cobalt, copper, lead/zinc, iron/vanadium, manganese, magnesium and gold industries, and has been responsible for the development of the processing route for four nickel laterite projects, several gold mines and several patented bioleach based processes.

Jim Moore

MINING ENGINEER

Jim is an experienced mining engineer with over 30 years as a mine manager and consultant across magnetite, gold, lithium, manganese, rare earths and precious metals. He has had exposure to all levels and a variety of operations, having undertaken feasibility study work for greenfield operations, expansions to established operations and managing mine operations in the Asia Pacific region.

John Berry

John has extensive experience in project development and mine operations in Australia and overseas, from brownfields exploration to operating mines, including 17 years in in Western Australia. He also has expertise in implementing accounting and financial systems and building financial models for project evaluations. John has wide commodity experience including gold, copper, mineral sands and manganese.

Dr. Clyde Smith

Clyde is an acclaimed US-based explorationist and mining geologist spanning over 50 years. He has successfully guided projects through exploration, discovery, feasibility and development, having worked with Rio Tinto, Teck and Mount Isa Mines. He is also an experience public company director and executive and a dedicated scientist with strong ties to academic research in the US and Canada. Clyde is the lead technical advisor to AEF in the US and was responsible for project discovery and acquisitions at Fluorite Ridge, New Mexico.

Joe Kaderavek

Joe has held senior management roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Five Oceans Asset Management, Bankers Trust, and Deutsche Bank. He has managed operational reviews and strategic option assessments across mining, processing, railway, and port facilities throughout Australia, North America, and Europe. In addition, Joe has worked in equities and investment research, focused on mining, minerals processing, energy storage, and battery technologies. Joe has managed investments in the global resources and minerals processing industries, including the management of turnaround projects supporting corporate targets, mergers, and divestment activities. He was recently Chief Executive Officer of Cobalt Blue Holdings (ASX: COB), now Deputy Chairman of that Company

Tyson Hall

Tyson has over a decade of experience in Executive Leadership, Board Advisory, and Board roles. He led P&L’s as large as $3 Bil/yr with responsibility for over 10,000 employees. Critical member of the global leadership teams of two publicly traded multibillion-dollar companies. Subject matter expert in specialty chemicals with previous responsibility for three fully integrated global chemical franchises including the world’s largest lithium business and the global bromine business while at Albemarle Corporation. Tyson has board advisory experience with two publicly traded companies including a $1.2 billion listing for 5E Advanced Materials (NASDAQ: FEAM). He has advisory experience in Private Equity, providing critical leadership for the integration of a $6.2 billion dollar acquisition, as well as Joint Venture Board Experience.
